II- THE ROLE
- Co-ordination and follow up all ground handling activities before arrival, during ground time and after departure.
- -Evaluation and action taking upon all possible factors that can influence, hinder or prevent safe and punctual operation of the flight.
- -Provision of correct flight and aircraft related data that Handling Companies will need in their work to ensure safe and punctual handling of the flight.
- As required, provision of all flight operation permits and documents necessary for the proper safe and punctual operation of the flight.
- Ensuring that the meal count is appropriately observed and the agreed local procedure for the order and delivery of any last-minute meals is followed.
- Guarantee ground Handling performance targets such as flight punctuality, check-in standards and baggage delivery times are attained in order that ASKY always remains competitive.
- Ensuring that the Pilot in Command, Lead Cabin Crew and Operational Control Center are informed of any actual or expected irregularities or delay concerning the flight.
- Ensuring that any information concerning irregularities or special passenger services are forwarded to stations or departments concerned.
- Guarantee efficient and proactive management of flight irregularities. Make arrangements, as requested by ASKY with airlines that can be used for substitute transportation in case of any irregularities in ASKY operations.
- Follow local arrangements and offers for crew accommodation and transport and report matters of importance to Senior Manager Ground Operations and Standards and Manager Inflight.
- Follow local matters in flight safety issues and report them to the Senior Manager Ground Operations and Standards.
- Co-operate with the Senior Manager Ground Operations and Standards in all issues related to benchmarking and improving ASKY service quality.
- Look for cost-effectiveness in all ground handling activities and keep Senior Manager Ground Operations and Standards informed of any potential and relevant opportunities that might bring cost savings to ASKY.
- Represent ASKY at the airport Airline Operation’s Committee (AOC).
III- QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Educational Level: High school diploma
- Qualifications/Skills: good knowledge in GDS, Passenger handling skills, proactive and confident, good commercial appearance
- Professional Experiences: 05 years in operational position
- Languages proficiency: French/English
