JOB TITLE

•        Security Officer

II-             THE ROLE

•        Ensures compliance with international and States regulations; 
•        Develops and implements effective Security programs to    ensure that operations are fully compliant with international and States regulations;
•        As a member of Safety and Security Team, assists to promote safety and Security culture; 
•        Draft and/or update Security documentations
•        Investigate issues raised in each Security report; 
•        Make recommendations to management regarding changes to policy procedures and practices to enhance Security and Safety;
•        Participate or lead investigations of the facts related to reports submitted;
•        Track Security recommendations and corrective actions   to ensure that   follow-up actions have been taken are effective. Determine if the actions have been effective and if not, make recommendations for additional changes or corrective action; 
•        Participate in organizic and following up on the management reviews, Security Review Committees; 
•        Participate and organizing the implementation of ASKY Security  drills;

III-          QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

•        Bachelor degree or equivalent;
•         Vocational training certificate in one or more Aviation Operations (Maintenance, Flight Operations, In-flight services, Ground Operations) advisable;
•        Trainings in Aviation Security (Basic; Cargo; Quality Assurance; Risks Management; Crisis Management; etc …).
•        Experience with regulatory agency policies, procedures and programs;
•        Experience  in Security Management System (SeMS) and Emergency Response Plan Management (ERPM);
•         Experience in one or more of following sectors : Flight operations, maintenance/engineering, dispatch, ground operations, In-flight services
